Who wants to try this DIY from Martha Stewart with me?
Honestly? I probably spoke too soon, because I'm deep in the throes of a headboard DIY (a.k.a. "nail head trim hell") at the moment. But, I'd love to hear if any of you try this one, or one like it.
Email me your pics (recentlytheblog@gmail.com) so we can all be inspired!

Emily, I'd love to try this! I am obsessed with these studded leather wraps lately and STILL need to get one. Where are you getting your supplies from? www.styleoyster.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHey Morgan! Well...I haven't even gotten as far as the supplies yet :). If you scroll through the pictures on the Martha Stewart article I linked to, you'll find different sources for supplies. I was thinking I would either use those sources or try to find everything at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Let me know what you find!!!
ReplyDeleteWow what a great find! I would love to see how yours turn out -- I am a new reader and really enjoying your blog! keep it up!

Welcome Bethany and thanks for your comment! I will definitely post if I'm successful with my bracelets. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw this idea on line too and promised myself I would do it, but so far I haven't tried to get the supplies. thinking of trying Michael's. Your post has got me inspired to get crafty soon. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteActually I was going to try this on a sweater, does that counts? ;) I'd still go for this!
ReplyDeleteOf course! ;) Sounds so cute Gaby!!!
DeleteYikers. My DIYS go as far as spraying painting and that's about it. Cooking is also kind of a DIY, no? :) Two and five are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteOnly you are allowed to count cooking as a DIY my friend. I love the way you think.
DeleteWhat a great idea and also love the colors here, so pretty!

I pinned it a little while back, but still haven't tried it… I'm buried in boxes at the moment. No time for any fun right now :(
ReplyDeleteI have a DIY nail head board to do for my closet to hang all my necklaces up so I can "nail" getting dressed with ease!
