Say hello to the lovely Natalie, visiting from one of my faves, Natalie Merrillyn. I'm absolutely positive you won't be disappointed today, because Natalie has such a great eye for all things fashionable and chic, and she proves it here. Enjoy!
Hello Recently readers! I'm Natalie from Natalie Merrillyn and I'm thrilled to be participating in Emily's Wish + Tell Series today!
What I'm Wishing For:
A black Céline tote. Every time I see a picture of one it kills me. Someday!
On My Nightstand:
I actually don't have a nightstand! We've moved four times in the past two years and we have one more move to go before we'll be settled for a while. A nightstand is just one of those pieces of furniture we've never invested in between all of our busy moves. Once we're more settled I'd love to have my nightstand look like the one above: fresh flowers, cool lighting, books and some pretty artwork.
My Guilty Pleasure:
Dark chocolate! They say it's good for you, right?
My Favorite Beauty Product:
The Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter. Completely natural and it works wonders on my skin. I'm addicted to it!
Book I'm Reading:
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. It's such a thriller, I can't put it down!
A Bit of Blogging Wisdom:
Be yourself and be genuine. Don't compare yourself to other people or other blogs. Make blogging friends, and don't be afraid to ask for help and advice!
A huge thank you to Emily for having me today!
xoxo
Thank you Natalie! So, pretty much I'm dying over single thing here, but especially that nightstand and the chocolate cake. That looks like a spoonful of perfection if I've ever seen it!
The quote you chose is so spot-on as well. I know that when I finally let go of the fear of failing was when my true creative potential began to shine. I'm not afraid of falling flat on my face anymore, because I realize that's when the growth will come. I'll learn from it, and will be better because of it.
Here, here!
There's so much pretty to be seen!
As always, thanks for stopping by and have a great Thursday!

love all fo these!! Especially the chocolate cake...and yes it is anti-cancer!! well dark chocolate anyway
ReplyDeleteI always try to choose dark chocolate, but end up eating way too much to make it even remotely healthy! :)
DeleteI've always wondered about The Body Shop body butter - I will have to try that. And with the winter months approaching my skin is going to be begging for health. And love her blogging advice!
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered about it too Holly! Yes, sounds like I'll be trying it in the coming months!
DeleteLove these picks! Also, so understand where Natalie is coming from on the nightstand front. I moved in around two months ago and have yet to have a nightstand. Shameful, I know, but other things keep taking priority before it. It's a small luxury, I suppose ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree Annie! We ended up buying small dressers to use as nightstands, and it helped so much with storage space and, you guessed it, organization! ;)
DeleteI love that quote and the advice Natalie gives. Having just started interior design school three weeks ago, its so hard not to compare myself to others in the class. Sometimes doing so makes me feel like I come up short. I know deep down, however, that my passion and creativity will shine through and I will be successful!
ReplyDeleteThank you both,
xo
You are so right, and cheers to you for recognizing that, and going for it! Hugs to you!
DeleteYay, I adore Natalie! We all are so into chocolate, and I like that ;)
