A Holly Jolly Table

One of my favorite parts of this time of year is the bevy of gorgeous holiday entertaining images that pop up everywhere.  I found a few that I love from years past, and I'm sensing a theme among them.
Do you see it?

Non-traditional colors and mixed metals are on the menu for
my soiree style, it seems, and I'm feeling inspired.

Never one to let inspiration pass, I rounded up a few items that are
sure to make any Christmas bash bright:

I see merry making in my future.
And can we talk about that french velvet ribbon from Sara Kate Studios?
It's simple luxury wrapped up in a perfect package, and I want one of every color.

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

  1. Oooh, I particularly love table 3 - the colors and styling are just divine!

I saw a pine cone garland on a mantel recently, and I think that velvet ribbon would be the perfect "string" to hold the pine cones.

  2. Oh I love them all! Especially the little balls in table 2! Haha of course now I just want them. ;)

  3. I'm loving all of these! I'm currently working on the centerpiece for our dining room table and my perfectionist self can't stop playing! I'll get it perfect ... hopefully before Christmas :)

  4. It's all in the mix! Love these inspirations and your picks are spot on, of course. That agate tray needs to be mine. Divine.

  5. I have dreams of some day setting a gorgeous Christmas table. This is beautiful inspiration!

  6. I LOVE your picks! I tried really hard to make our Thanksgiving table the best it could be but it was lacking a lot of gold, sparkly things!

  7. i love all the touches of gold-- adds such a glamorous vibe to each setting.

  8. I love the idea of doing a non-traditional colored table. My brother sister and do have a tradition of doing a sibling dinner and I think I'll use that second image as my inspiration.

  9. I love what you put together. Come and decorate my table- fab!

  10. So perfect -- love the color scheme!

  11. i've been seeing those agate platters everywhere lately. i die every time i look at them. i prefer nontraditional palettes for holidays, especially when they include gold ;)

  12. Oh my goodness. Love everything about this table. Gorgeous set up!

  13. Such festive settings! Love the mix of pretty polka dots on tableware...makes the holidays that much more funky fresh!

Also- I’m hosting a décor-to-dress giveaway where 3 winners will WIN a fabulous frock of their choice just in time for the holidays! Hope you’ll stop by to enter the contest!

    Peace. Love. LOL!
