Normally, I would say I'm glad the weekend has arrived.
This fine Friday, however, I'm not so happy, as my 9 year old has the flu. Boo.
He's been a trooper, but it hasn't been a treat by any means. I'm just praying to the Lysol gods that no one else gets sick, and that we'll be back to normal by next week.
Hopefully I'm the only one with such bad luck this weekend and all of you enjoy yours with gusto.
I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines!

DeleteI feel your pain. My 7-year-old had a "flu-like" illness (as he tested negative for flu, but the doctor said it could still be flu as 10-15% who have it nest negative - whatever) this past week and missed 3 days of school and yesterday was a snow day. It's been a long week. Hope your big guy is on the mend soon. I've been Lysol'ing like crazy too!
ReplyDeleteUgh Kathy, hope he's feeling better now!!! My two year old woke up sick this morning, but tested negative for both flu and strep. The dr. said it was probably too early for either to come up positive. Grrr. I just want my babies to feel better! :)
